2009 Baseball Camp

Oaks Dads Club 2009 Baseball Camp June 19th and 20th

O.D.C will host a 2 day baseball camp from 9am -12pm on June 19th and 20th. The camp will directed by Eric Arnold and Shooter Smith.

Eric Arnold

Eric played high school baseball at La Porte HS and was drafted by The Chicago Cubs in the 1998 draft. He opted to attend Rice University on a baseball scholarship where he played for four years including two trips to the College World Series. Eric was named to All-America teams and set several school records in 2002 including: games, starts, at bats, hits and doubles. He was drafted in 2002 and played 5 years of professional baseball in the Toronto Blue Jays organization.

Shooter Smith

Shooter played high school baseball in Denver, CO where he earned All-State honors as fist team catcher. He attended Rice University on a baseball scholarship but was hampered by a shoulder injury throughout his tenure at Rice. Since graduated Rice in 2002, Shooter has taught baseball instruction and personal fitness in Denver and Houston. He now owns Confluence Sports (confluencesports.com) and offers a variety of performance enhancement training options.

The camp will teach basic as well as advanced ideas in baseball for kids age 6 to 16.

Camp Fees are Member $60.00 for 1 day and $90 for both days.

 

The Early Bird Price for those that sign up before June 12th is $55.00 for 1 day and $85.00 for both days.
