A Long Term Commitment to Youth Sports Continues
ODC has provided youth sports in the Houston area since 1954 through our main park located at 3410 E. TC Jester situated in the heart of Oak Forest. We will be celebrating our 65th Anniversary in April 2019. This year we had 1,000 players between the ages of 4 and 16 years old participate in Baseball, Softball, and Soccer. In 2017, we acquired Candlelight Fields at 6500 Rena Street from Candlelight Little League after closing their program. The addition of these fields will ensure the continued growth of our youth sports programs for years to come and will allow our membership to grow. Currently, we host our soccer program and baseball practice fields for our older players at Candlelight Fields.
ODC is more than just youth sports, it’s about family and dedication to the community. In fact, many of the parents and grandparents of current players at ODC were players here themselves! Our motto, “As the twig is bent, so grows the tree,” is a reflection of our commitment to the growth and development of our youth.
Oaks Dads' Club
Revolver supports our organization in more ways than one. James Cole is a coach, dad, corporate and baseball board member, and sponsor of ODC. We are lucky to have parents like him helping us daily.
